The Puy du Fou theme park in western France welcomed six very special cleaners—Boubou, Bamboo, Bill, Black, Bricole and Baco. They are six rooks（秃鼻乌鸦）! As part of the daily show, the theme park had already trained the rooks to pick up roses and bring them to a “princess” in a castle.

Workers at the park have taught the rooks to pick up small pieces of rubbish. The rooks move the rubbish into a small box. After helping to clean the park, they get bird food for their hard work.

“The park is very clean,” Nicolas de Villiers, the head of the park, told AFP. “The purpose of the rooks is to educate the people to open their minds, to think.”

As a regular visitor to the park, Simon, ever said after watching it, “OK, the birds are able to do something that we can do better than them. It shows that we humans cannot throw the rubbish everywhere.”

Josh Klein taught rooks to collect money and drop it in a “vending machine”（投币式自动售货机）. The machine only works if a piece of paper of the correct size is put inside it. After six months of training, he found that rooks could remember the correct size of paper and put it in the machine to get food.

Cat owners are lazier than dog owners. Why? Because dog owners have to wake up early in the morning and go for a walk with their dogs, while cat owners keep sleeping and wake up whenever they want. Dogs are so active that it is hard to be lazy around them.

Never give up

Have you noticed (注意) that when something is in front of ants, they do not sit down or become sad? They just keep going.

One day, I watched a small ant taking a bug back to its nest (巢穴). A leaf in the way was a big problem, but the ant was not giving up. It tried very hard to work out a way. Finally, the ant got that bug over the leaf and into the nest.

Ask for help

Think about it, have you ever seen an ant move something too big by itself? That never happens. When a load (负荷) is too big, the ant signals (发信号) to the others for help.

Why don’t we do more of this? Sometimes, we are just too afraid to ask someone to share the load. Sharing can make our life much easier.

Think winter in summer

Ants know there are seasons. They collect food and build the nest all through the summer even when they still have enough to eat. So when the cold days of winter come, the ants can stay in their warm nest and never worry about being hungry. They plan for their life!
