Hello! My name is Zhang Hongmei. I go to a middle school in Shanghai. I am in Class 5, Grade 7. In my class, there are 20 girls and 19 boys.

My classroom is big and nice. In it, there is a computer, a bookcase, and a blackboard. Our teacher Miss Liu likes decorating the walls with our pictures.

My desk is always tidy. Now I only have my pencil box on my desk. It is purple. In my pencil box, I have many things: a pencil, three pens, an eraser, and a ruler. My schoolbag is under the desk. There are my books and notebooks in it.

I go to school by bus with my best friend, Wang Fang. We are in the same grade, but she is in Class 6. We always meet after class. She is a happy girl. I like her very much.

Service hours

3:00 pm—5:00 pm on school days; 8:30 am—1:00 am on weekends

On school days, your kids may borrow or return books during opening hours only when his classroom teacher allows him to. At the weekend, our library is open to both you and your kids.

Borrowing

Each student can borrow one or two books at a time. More books can be borrowed only for class reading activities and school research.

Returning

Books borrowed from the library can be kept for 15 school days. The books must be returned before the due (到期的) date or the kid cannot borrow other books.

Damaged or lost books

When a book is returned in a damaged condition, the kid will have to pay three dollars for the damage. Full price must be paid if a book is lost. We encourage students to carry their library books in plastic bags to protect them from rainy weather.
