The winter vacation is coming. During the vacation, you can do what you like and prepare yourself for the future. You’ll enjoy this period of time with the help of the following suggestions.

Take exercise. After working hard for months, you must be bored. Taking exercise is the best way to get energy again. 【小题1】 All kinds of exercise are good for your health.

【小题2】 You will live an independent life one day, so you should learn some necessary and useful skills such as washing clothes and cooking. 【小题3】

Go travelling. The world is a book. Those who don’t travel only read one page. Travelling is so interesting. 【小题4】 If not, do it at once! During the trip, you will have a chance to learn more knowledge. While learning about different cultures and customs, you will also make a lot of friends.

Our summer camp program is for students 10 to 16 years of age. It includes a variety of fun activities. The camp is designed to enrich students’ lives during their summer holidays and to encourage them to gain confidence. For more information, please visit our website: www.greenpineschool.com.

Green Pine School staff members are chosen for their experience and their ability to relate to children. The teaching staff is made up of trained teachers.

Campers are provided with a safe environment. We have a gym, a science lab, a computer lab and a library. They are all air-conditioned. We also have four playgrounds and a soccer field.

A great festival for the Chinese takes place on the 15^thday of the 8^thChinese lunar month.【小题1】The Mid-Autumn Festival has its typical food---the mooncake, which is round and delicious.【小题2】Long ago there was a king in China who was very cruel(残暴的) to the people and the country didn't go well.【小题3】So they wrote notes telling about the meeting place and time and put them into cakes. On the 15^thof August every person was told to buy the cakes. When they ate them, they discovered the notes. So they got together to make a sudden attack(进攻) on the king. From then on, the Chinese people celebrated on August 15^th.【小题4】When the Mid-Autumn Festival is near, shop owners decorate(装饰) their shop windows beautifully with pictures of ancient Chinese ladies. People go to buy many kinds of mooncakes.【小题5】On the evening of the day, people and their family have a big meal. After it, they watch the fullest and brightest moon.
