New cities will have to be built in the sea. Some of them will have two levels(层). People will live on the upper level; the lower level will be used for traffic, shops and factories.

Biotechnology(生物技术) will make food better and healthier. Plants without insects or illnesses(病虫害) will be developed. (B)The taste of fruit and vegetables will be better and food will be kept longer.

Many new ways to cure(治愈) illnesses will be found. People will use products of genetic engineering(基因工程产品) to cure more illnesses. However, some new illnesses will appear.

My name is Linda. In ten years, I think I'll be a teacher, because I like playing with children. I'll meet lots of interesting students, and I'll also be able to make friends with foreign teachers. I think I'll live in Beijing in ten years. But as a Chinese, I hope that I can travel all places of interest in our country. I will keep a pet dog at home in ten years, because I don't have free time now. And I am sure I'll also have many good friends in ten years. I'll learn judo (柔道), because that is one of my dreams. I'll look after my health, so I'll exercise more, and I'll eat healthy food every day. I will work hard from now on!
