任务型阅读-多任务混合 较难0.4 引用1 组卷171

Playing is a serious business for children. In fact,it's what they do best!Ask them why they do it,and kids will probably say,“Because it's fun!”But it's much more than that. It's also good for them.

(A)孩子们从出生就开始通过玩来学习。They use their five senses to get to know their new world. Touching allows them to discover how different things feel. Brightly colored toys and clothing help develop a baby's sense of sight(视觉).

When small children choose which toy to play with, they begin developing their(B)abilities in making decisions. Children love toys that allow them to use their imagination. Sometimes an empty box is more fun than ahigh-tech toy. That's because a box can become anything a child imagines to be.

Crayons, paints and Play-Doh(彩色塑泥)are also good because they allow children to create. Traditional building blocks teach important premath skills like problem-solving.

Playing doesn't become any less important once children start school. Many valuable lessons about life are learned on the school playground. Kids learn how to share, take turns and play by the rules.

第四节:阅读短文,根据其内容,完成下列任务。(每小题2分,满分10分)

We can’t remember clearly when we started to take our mobiles to a dinner table. This happens a lot, especially when we eat out. Once a dish comes, instead of lifting our chopsticks, we take out our mobiles and click. Later, we post the photos onto Weibo or Wechat, waiting to be “liked”. Then we check our mobiles from time to time during the meal, to see① ________

we get “liked” or not. We just cannot leave our mobiles for only a meal.

Does that sound familiar to you? Do you do that often? If not, how do you feel when others do that when having dinner with you?

A recent study suggests that what we are used to doing is not so good. Spending time taking photos of food makes the food less pleasant. To test this, some researchers did an experiment. Some people were asked to take photos before they could enjoy food. As a result, it showed that the more photos they took, the less delicious the food seemed to them. So, why not ②__________ taking photos and just enjoy the food in front of you?

Besides the scientific result, there are also some other bad influences of taking photos of food before meals. After posting the photos onto the Internet, one will not be able to control himself and check his mobile many times. “Does everyone like my photos? I hope a lot of people like them!” It seems that your mobile secretly calls your name all the time, even when you are with real people.

So, next time you go out to have dinner with your family or friends, how about not taking photos of food? Let the food be delicious as it is and share your life with people around you. Trust me, it will be a wonderful time.

More than 60 percent of children and teens do not get enough sleep, which can put their health at risk, according to a report by the Chinese Sleep Research Society.

Nearly 63 percent of Chinese youths ages 6 to 17 sleep less than eight hours a day, according to the report. Among 13 to 17-year-olds, the number is more than 81 percent. The report was based on a survey at the end of last year and in January. It covered nearly 70,000 children and teens ages 6 to 17 all over China.

The report found that two top causes influenced students’ sleep. From Monday to Thursday, 64 percent of the group would still be busy with their homework after 11 p.m.. More than 41 percent of children and teenagers who sleep too little use computers and mobile phones.

The survey also showed that good sleep makes study effective(有效的). Some students who sleep longer generally finish homework in two to three hours. Some other students may require four to six hours because they sleep less. Zhao Zhongxin, a professor studying sleep disorders, said, “Sleep helps growth, protects the brain and makes the immune system(免疫系统) better. Long-term loss of sleep will bring risks of disease and cause lasting health damage.”

Some specialists suggested that local education authorities all over China take action to help students get more sleep, including putting off the start of morning classes by half an hour.

任务型阅读(每空一个单词)

“Don’t judge a book by its cover,” the old saying goes. Unluckily, as a teenager, that is often exactly what you do to yourself. Dark thoughts about your physical appearance can hang over you all the time like a rain cloud. Do I look fat in these jeans? Do others think I am too short? These thoughts can have a negative(消极的) influence on people of any shape or size, both male and female, and it is important to guard against the causes behind them.

Standards of beauty in the media can have a big influence on what you think of your physical appearance. Teens who try to copy the looks of their favourite stars are fighting a losing battle—these standards are simply impossible for most of the population to live up to. They will only end up feeling worse about themselves.

Your friends also influence the way you view your physical appearance. If you have friends who are good-looking or have a great fashion sense, it can feel like you are living in their shadow. For children of digital age, social media makes this problem even worse. Your friends may post a “never ending” series of photos online to show off their beautiful dresses or strong bodies, and it becomes easier for you to compare yourself to them. This has proved to have a negative effect on what you think of your physical appearance.

These external influences are always present, but there are certainly ways to deal with them. First of all, be careful not to follow popular beauty standards blindly. They are out of reach for 99% of us, so it is better to just forget about them.

Another tip is to remind yourself that you are unique(独一无二的). Keep in mind that your family and friends love you just the way you are. Talk about your feelings with someone you trust. Focusing on your strength also helps you build your confidence. Everyone has their own talents—you may be good at painting or playing the piano, so take pride in things you do well instead of worrying about things you cannot change.

You may often judge yourself by what is on the outside, not on the inside. However, like a book, your contents are much more important than your cover. If you can learn to see the good things about yourself—your individuality, your value to others, your achievements—you will soon begin to love yourself just the way you are.
