One day, Wilma, Biff and Chip were drawing and painting. Wilma had a lot of drawings of girls. She liked drawing girls and clothes. Chip was painting a picture of a volcano. Wilma moved her leg and she kicked Chip’s paint over. The paint ran over Chip’s picture. Chip was cross, so he flicked paint over Wilma’s picture and said Wilma’s drawings were silly. But Chip didn’t say sorry.

Suddenly, the magic key began to glow. The magic took them to a volcano. It looked like Chip’s painting. But where was Chip? Wilma saw some girls who looked like the ones in her drawings. Suddenly, the volcano began to spit out blobs of red paint. They had to run away, but these girls couldn’t run in their boots or dresses. Wilma had an idea. She began to draw jeans and tops and asked the girls to put them on. So they could run very quickly with the jeans and tops.

Chip was in the paint river and he was calling for help. Wilma had another idea. She drew a long rope and they pulled Chip out. Chip was safe. He thanked Wilma and Biff for pulling him out.

When the adventure was over, Chip knew that he shouldn’t treat Wilma like that, so he said sorry to Wilma.

One day, the teacher sees Ann is not happy. She asks Ann, "What's wrong with you?" "I want to buy a new pair of shoes, but my parents don't have enough money. "Ann answers. Then the teacher says, "Today I have homework for you--count your parents' shoes and tell me the number tomorrow. "

The next day, the teacher asks Ann, "Do you count your parents' shoes?"

"Yes. My father has three pairs of shoes and my mother has four pairs of shoes."

"How many pairs of shoes do you have?"

I was in line waiting to pay. A little boy in the front was buying some clothes.

It was clear that the boy had already used all the money. The lady in front of me said, “Well, I could pay half of that.” I told the boy that I could pay the other half. We dug into our handbags. It was amazing and touching as all these strangers seemed to react (反应) with the same mind. All wanted to be of help. Within minutes the cashier said, “I have too much money.” The cashier didn’t need our ten-dollar bills. Then the lady in front of me said, “Wait! I didn’t even get a chance to give anything!”

I smiled at her and said, “You did your share, because it was your idea and you started all this.” The little boy smiled and thanked us. I was left with a good feeling. I saw the love and goodness of others all around me. The woman in front of me smiled and said, “It sure feels good to give, doesn’t it?” I smiled back and said, “Yes!”
