Once, a Chinese student went to study English in England. His family name is Sun. It is the same as the English word "sun".

England is a country with bad weather. It is often cloudy or misty（有雾的）, and it rains now and again, so the people there don't get much sunshine in the whole year.

When the Chinese student arrives in London, a tall English policeman with a long face opens his passport to check it. The policeman is interested to find the Chinese name "Sun" in the passport. He thinks it is pronounced（发音）just like the English word "sun", so he said to the Chinese student, "I see your name is Sun. You are wanted here! "

The Chinese student is very surprised. -But after a moment the policeman begins to smile, "Mr. Sun, you've brought sunshine to England! So we don't want you to go away! "

Einstein has to speak at an important science meeting. On the way there, he tells his driver that looks a bit like him, "I’m sick of all these meetings. I always say the same things over and over!"

The driver agrees, "You’re right. As your driver, I attend all of them, and even though I don't know anything about science, I could give the speech in your place."

"That’s a great idea!"says Einstein. "Let’s exchange our places then!"

So they exchange clothes. As soon as they arrive, the driver dressed as Einstein goes on stage and starts giving the usual speech, while the real Einstein, dressed as the car driver, attends it.

But in the crowd, there is one scientist who wants to show off and thinks of a very difficult question to ask Einstein, hoping he won’t be able to answer. So this guy stands up and cuts in the speech by raising his very difficult question. The whole room goes silent, holding their breath, waiting for the answer.

The driver looks at him, dead in the eye, and says, "Sir, your question is so easy that I’m going to let my driver answer it for me."

There was once a bat. For him, going out and hunting insects was a terrible amount of effort. He was a lover of comfort. One day, when he happened to look through a window, he saw a bird in its cage. He saw that the bird was given all its food and water without having to do anything at all. So, the bat decided to become a child’s pet.

The bat decided to improve his appearance to attract children’s attention. He made a beak（乌喙）, stuck a load of feathers to his body, and learned how to whistle so that his bat calls weren’t quite as horrible as before. And with great good fortune, he met a little boy who did not wear his glasses. He was so short-sighted that this strange-looking black little bird’s ridiculous（可笑的）appearance didn’t really matter.

The bat was happy in his cage, in a warm and comfortable house. But that feeling lasted only up to the time he started feeling hungry. When he wanted to eat there were no flies or insects for him, only a load of birdseed and cereal（谷物）, which the bat didn’t like. He was determined to die of hunger rather than sample that bird food.

Some days later, the bat-bird managed to escape from the cage and return home. He was so ashamed and embarrassed that he decided not to tell anyone what had happened. However, he couldn’t stop the other bats from commenting（评论）on how much effort he now made when they were out hunting flies, how strong and tough he had become, and how he no longer seemed to worry about the discomforts of living in freedom.
