Planet Earth is a beautiful place. Now, we are asking our readers to draw a poster that celebrates the natural world and write a pledge (誓言) to protect Planet Earth.

The competition is inspired (启发) by Earth Day, which takes place on April 22nd each year. It is a time to celebrate the planet and think about how to protect it better. So we are asking readers to think about what their favorite things are in the natural world and then draw them.

We can’t wait to see your drawings. Good luck!

Instructions

Draw your poster on the white card. Then write your wishes to the planet. Ask a friend to take a photo and send it to theplanetearth.com by May 17th, 2024.

Borrowing Students can borrow up to 2 books at a time. Students on the Learning Support List can borrow 5 books at a time. Students may renew books by bringing them to the Library. Teachers may borrow up to 20 books at a time	Using The Library Teachers are welcome to book the Library for classes. Book Boxes for topics for use in the classroom can be prepared if it is not convenient to visit the Library. Small groups of pupils (at most 6) may be sent to the Library during the lesson to borrow/return books or to research a topic.
Library Rules Students must leave their schoolbags in the bag store in the Library entrance. Food, sweets, drink are not allowed in the Library. Students are expected to behave nicely and respect other students’ need to study quietly.
Library Services The Library has a photocopier for teacher and student use. Costs are: 5 pence (便士) for A4 sheet; 10 pence for A3 sheet
