In Xi’an, there is a special sidewalk for the phubbers（低头族）. Different people have different opinions on it.

This special walkway can keep people who are always looking at their phones safe and away from accidents. People might feel much better when using this walkway, because they used to knock into someone else on a crowded one.

It just encourages（鼓励）people to keep looking at their phones. Just imagine（想象）if everyone only pays attention to their mobile phones while walking, walkways like this will be useless. Accidents will still happen.

Mobile phones have made a big difference in our lives. It seems that many people can’t live without them. Every year, many people get injured or lose their lives because they are playing on their mobile phones while walking. So why not make a better environment（环境） for them? This special walkway can keep them away from danger.

Smart phones are making a difference to our lives too much. They keep us away from reality（现实）and the beauty around us. A special walkway for those is an indulgence（纵容）. Can’t people put their phones down for a while and enjoy a beautiful day? This is what we should encourage.

I live in a new town with my family. There are lots of tall buildings in the town. The streets are busy and the traffic is heavy, but the pollution is not very serious (严重的).

In our town, more than half of the buildings have fifteen to thirty floors. Most of the people live in such tall buildings, but they don’t have to climb the stair (楼梯). They use lifts to go up and down.

Many restaurants, supermarkets, cinemas and theaters are in very tall buildings. They are big, bright and modern (现代的). So people enjoy eating, shopping, seeing films and watching plays in them.

The streets in our town are wide, but because there are too many cars, they are still very busy. Sometimes when you come to the street crossing, you have to wait for the green lights for a long time. The people in our town never put rubbish everywhere or put dirty (脏的) water into the river, so you cannot see much pollution in our town. I hope you’ll come to visit our town if you like.
