nearly 50% of the people are shy, and almost 80% feel shy sometimes.

②          It is found that people might be shy because of their family. Kids with no brothers or sisters may be shy. Growing up alone, they often play by themselves. They can’t have the same social skills as kids from big families.

③It is also found that people might be shy because of technology. As more and more people use the Internet, they go outside less. So they lose chances to talk with others. Speaking to new people face to face can make them feel nervous.

④For shy people, it can be difficult to make friends, speak in class, and even get a good job. But some scientists say shy people can do better sometimes, because they think more and talk less. Scientists also say if you don’t want to be shy anymore, you can do something new and talk with others more often.

⑤Anyway, don’t be afraid of shyness! Don’t lose good chances because of it! If you need to sing a song at a birthday party or speak English in front of others, just do it!

The fridge maybe a perfect choice for keeping food safe and fresh. The following tips can help you store food correctly.

The temperature can be different from shelf to shelf. Often, the higher the shelf is, the higher the temperature will be. So try to put ready-to-eat food like burgers, pizza or cream cakes on top shelves. The middle shelves are most suitable for dairy products(乳制品) such as cheese, butter, yoghurt and eggs. Bottom shelves are the coldest part of the fridge, making them perfect for storing raw(生的) meat and seafood. Some fridges have a freezer(冷冻室) for keeping these things.

Keeping food in the fridge does not kill bacteria(细菌), but it can stop the bacteria from growing fast. Bacteria can grow quickly in temperatures between 5℃ and 60℃. This is called the Temperature Danger Zone. The temperature in your fridge needs to be between 0℃ and 5℃. The freezer temperature should be below -18℃.

Fruit and vegetables can also be stored at room temperature. Try to keep them in a cool, dry and dark place, away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. Once cut, they should be put in the fridge.

Before you go out, remember the three “W”s : Always tell your parents WHERE you are going, WHO you are going with and WHEN you will get back home.

Make sure you know where your home is and what your parent’s telephone number is.

Say “NO” loudly if someone wants to make you feel unhappy.

Shout loudly and run away if someone wants to make you go with him/her or wants to make you do the things you don’t like.

Some strangers look very friendly, but never talk to them and never take gifts from them. You mustn’t do like that.

If you get lost in a new place, be careful of whom you ask for help. Ask a policeman or someone with a child for help.

You may think it’s not easy to keep safe. But if you follow these rules, you’ll be safe.
