I’m Caroline. I’m from New York, the US. I eat early (早). I have bread for breakfast at about 6:30, and salad for lunch at about 11:30. For dinner, I always eat chicken or fish. When I want to eat something between meals (两餐之间), it’s always (总是) fruit, like bananas, oranges, and apples.

I go to work by bike and run (跑步) 10 km a day. I’m a waitress (女服务员), so I walk a lot all day. I think that’s good for me. I don’t want to be fat (胖的).

Many people in New York don’t eat right. They say they don’t have time (时间) to buy food and cook, so they go out for their meals all the time. I don’t think they have good eating habits (习惯).

At home, I like cooking for my family. I also like playing with my little cat or reading books with my sister before bed.

There are all kinds of food. Some are good for health. Some are unhealthy, like hamburgers and ice-cream. The passage talks about some food that can help us keep healthy.

	Oranges and orange juice. They give us enough vitamin（维生素）C. Starting a day with a small glass of orange juice in the morning is good for our health.
	Green vegetables. They help us stay away from cancer（癌症）. They also give us different vitamins.
	Yogurt（酸奶）. It is made from milk. It is good for us and can make our body strong. So next time you want to drink a cup of coffee, get yourself a cup of yogurt.
	Green tea. It helps us to be thin. We should try to drink more. However, try not to drink it before you go to bed.
