Let go of the problems

There are many teenagers who have too much pressure. Last Wednesday, Mr. Trent began his psychological (心理的) health class 【小题1】 holding up a glass of water. He asked the students 【小题2】 would happen if he held it up for a day. 【小题3】 student said the teacher’s arm would ache or go numb(麻木的). He might have to go to hospital! All the students laughed.

The students were puzzled.

“Put the glass down!” said another student.

It's important to think of the challenges or problems in your life. But what's even 【小题10】(important) is to put them down at the end of every day.

The Communist Youth League of China (CYLC共青团) is important to the Communist Party of China (CPC共产党). How to be a good member of the CYLC?

Recently, there has been a sudden rise of COVID-19 cases in my city. Our local government, medical workers and community workers all worked 【小题1】 to help deal with it.

My cousin, a college student and member of the CYLC, has volunteered to help in this fight 【小题2】 COVID-19. He helps send food and other groceries (杂货) to the residents (居民) in a locked-down apartment building. He 【小题3】 helps medical workers in testing for the virus (病毒). Sometimes he gets up as early as 4:00 a.m. and works till late at night. It’s tiring but he never thinks of giving up. His belief (信仰) 【小题4】 him to volunteer and help people in need.

My cousin told me that from the moment he became a CYLC member, he 【小题5】 up his mind to spread positive energy. There’s always a 【小题6】 on his face. He believes it can make people feel happy and warm.

For my cousin, being a CYLC member is not only an honor but also a responsibility. I think this is 【小题7】 Chinese youth should be like. Not all of us can do great things, 【小题8】 we can do small things to make a change. Let’s start with small things around us and try to make a contribution to the society.

One day, a boy had a fight with one of his classmates. Then he went to his 【小题1】 and told him his story angrily. “He is really bad,” the boy said, “and I 【小题2】 him.”
