The Chinese brand Voyah entered the top five in terms of electric car sales in Russia, and the demand for hybrid (混合动力) cars increased. Although sales of electric cars in Russia increased last year, their share of the car market was less than 2 percent. People believe that the Russian electric car market will keep its growth because of government’s support, an increase in brand choices, and increasing charging piles (充电桩). Chinese electric carmakers have considerable potential (潜能) in the Russian market and demand for Chinese electric cars will continue to grow in Russia.
