There are four people in my family. They’re my grandfather, my parents and me. My grandfather exercises every day. He never uses the Internet. He eats vegetables three times a day, but he hardly ever drinks milk. And he watches TV every night. My father is a taxi driver. He’s very busy. He never exercises, but he sometimes surfs the Internet. He watches TV on Saturday and Sunday evenings. He often eats vegetables and drinks milk. My mother is a housewife. She watches TV twice a day. She never surfs the Internet. She sometimes eats vegetables, but she drinks milk three times a week. Exercise? Of course she does. She exercises every day by doing housework. I’m a middle school student. I go to school from Monday to Friday. I often exercise. But on Saturday and Sunday, I don’t exercise because I have too much homework to do. I watch TV only on Sunday evening. But I surf the Internet twice a week. I drink milk every day, but I don’t like vegetables. My mother often says to me, “Why do you eat so much meat, Mike? It’s not good for your health.” But I like it very much.

Lucy is my good friend. Her family is a big（大的）family. They are her grandparents, her parents, her uncle, her aunt, her two cousins and her. Alan and Gina are her grandparents. Nick and Sonia are her parents. Paul is her uncle and Mona is her aunt. Dave is Paul and Mona’s first son. He’s 12 years old( 12岁). Tim is Dave’s brother. He’s 10 years old(10岁).

I liked being a mess. In my room, my desk was always surrounded by spoiled milk and old magazines. My floor was covered with sweaters, socks, and shoes. My shelves were full of boxes with little things: hair bands, matches, coins...

One day, I was lying on my bed, when I noticed several spiders（蜘蛛）on the wall climbing down to my bed. At that moment, I felt terrible for things in my room and decided to find everything hidden deep down under the dust（灰尘）and save them from the spiders. So I started to clean.

In a box hidden under old textbooks, I found a letter that my grandpa had written to me. I hadn’t thought of him since he died. Suddenly I remembered the feel of his soft sweater rubbing warmly against my face each time he hugged me and couldn’t help crying.

In the drawer next to my bed, I found a lovely watch my childhood best friend, Aubrey, had given to me before she moved to California. I realized that we hadn’t been in touch for years. So the next day I called her, and we talked all night, laughing about the silly moments we shared in the old time.

Under my bed I even found the picture of my mom and me in Jamaica, and what really caught my attention was my look. I could hardly recognize this person as me. I had big strange teeth, short hair and wore a pink little dress... That was so funny.

I decided to completely re-organize my room so that all the books, clothes, and baskets were in their right place. It was like finding the missing pieces of the puzzle（拼图）. The last thing was hanging that picture high up on my wall. After all, it was the lost “me” I had been searching for.
