Drinking hot water without anything in it is very useful, if you have a fever or have a cold. Water can make something dirty out of your body. It can also lower (降低) your blood pressure (血压). Don’t drink too much water at once, because it’s bad for your stomach. It shows you drink enough when you feel full.

Mr. King

When you cough, you can’t eat or drink something sweet like sweet milk, cakes and sugar. You should eat something light such as vegetables and fruit, and drink hot water. Don’t eat peppers. You can’t drink or eat something cold, either. They’ll make you cough worse. Drinking some hot pear water is a good way to keep you off cough.

Mr. Green

If you have a stomachache, you can’t drink wine (酒) or eat peppers. You can’t drink thick (浓的) tea, coffee and something too cold or hot. You can eat porridge or noodles and drink soup. Staying up late at night and keeping too worried may be bad for your stomach. You need to drink more water, take some medicine and take exercise to keep your stomach healthy.
