France is calling

France is in Western Europe. It is a country with many 【小题1】 (beauty) places.

Paris is the capital of France. Here you will find many famous places of 【小题2】 (interesting) such as the Eiffel Tower. You can go the Louver Museum if you like art. The most famous street in Paris is the Champs-Elysees. This is the place 【小题3】 (go) if you want to visit some shops and department stores.

France is very famous for 【小题4】 (it) wine. There are many vineyards in the centre of France and farmers grow 【小题5】 (grape) to make excellent French wine.

The south of France 【小题6】 (lie) on the coast, and it is famous for its wonderful beaches. A French town by the sea is the perfect place for a summer holiday, but if you prefer to visit France in winter you can try 【小题7】 (ski) on the mountains in the French Alps.

France has something for everyone, so why not visit France this year?

Born in the city, we regard the country life as something far away. We are used to the e【小题1】 in the city. We are even getting used to the noises and pollution in the city. It has become a p【小题2】 of our life. I have never b【小题3】 to the country. Nature is a word strange to us. This summer I had the chance to go with my parents on a v【小题4】 to the countryside.

For the first time in my life I have the experience with the country life. Here I realize what a life of nature is. This is a small village f【小题5】 from cities. It is at the foot of a mountain. The life there is simple. It is different from the city l【小题6】.

There are few cars or other transportation (交通工具) on the way. The air is fresh. The sky is high. The people are friendly. They are not as busy a【小题7】 those in the big city. Everywhere you can find people bathing in the sun. They drink clean water. The water comes from the mountain. They e【小题8】 the quiet life very much. What’s m【小题9】, there you can hear the sound of nature. You can find the children playing with water in the river and the dogs running after the people. All these make a w【小题10】 picture of countryside. How I love the country life!

When you hear about Hainan, China’s southernmost province, what comes to your mind first? This year marks the 30th anniversary (周年纪念) of the establishment（建立） of Hainan province. It is a great c【小题1】for us to learn more about the island province.

A big i【小题2】 meeting of the Boao Forum (论坛) for Asia will soon take place in Hainan. Since 2001, every April, people from different countries come to Boao to d【小题3】 economic issues (经济议题). The forum is important for the future development of Asian cities. It has also made Hainan famous a【小题4】 the world.

In Hainan, you can also visit China’s southernmost city, Sansha. Sansha was set up in 2012. It i【小题5】 the Xisha, Zhongsha and Nansha island groups. The city allows China to better p【小题6】 fishermen and develop oil and gas resources in the South China Sea. Sansha is also becoming a p【小题7】 place for traveling. People can take helicopters (直升机), planes or ships to visit the city.

However, for some people, Hainan is no longer just a tourist attraction (旅游胜地). It has become their s【小题8】 home. Every year, from October to April, people from different places around China leave their home for Hainan to enjoy the warm weather and fresh air. These people are jokingly referred to as “migratory birds” (候鸟族). Most of them are elderly people from northern China, e【小题9】 Northeast China.

As you can see, Hainan has more than just golden b【小题10】 and blue seas. The island is waiting for you to explore it.
