The school buses are yellow. They are very strong. The idea of school buses is from America. The school bus always has a big nose. This can keep the students safe when other cars crash into the school buses.

Why do Americans use yellow as the color of school buses? That’s because yellow can make other cars find them easily. Usually the school buses are free, so there is no need for money.

In China, there is always a driver and a teacher on the bus. Students can always read books, listen to music or have a talk with the teacher. School buses in China are not free. The fee is different from school to school.

My name is Jeff. I’m an English boy. But now I live in Yichang. I am a student. This is my classroom. Fifteen small desks and thirty chairs are in the classroom. They are for students. A big desk is in the classroom, too. It’s for my teachers. There are some books and two pens on it. They are not ours, but the teachers’. A clock is on the back wall of the classroom. Next to the clock is a map. It’s a map of the world（世界）.

Library Rules

★Everyone can borrow (借) three books every time. Everyone can keep books for only one month.

★Don’t write or draw in books, and don’t write on the desk in the library.

★You can bring your phone or computer to the library. But don’t make noises (噪音).

★Keep quiet. Sometimes you want to talk about things with your classmates, then you can find a study room (自习室) and talk.

★Don’t eat in the library.

★Remember to clean your desk and chair when you leave. If you have any questions about books, you can go to the first floor of the library. There is a library teacher, and he or she can help you.
