Do you know students’ life in the US? Do the students in the US have a little homework? Are their teachers very nice? Do they work hard at school? After I go to school in the US, I know the answers. Let me tell you the students’ life in the US.

Get up at 6:00 am and then go to school by bus at seven o’clock.

Class starts at 8:00 am. The students in the US have many classes every day like math, geography, history, IT and so on.

There is a little homework after school. But after doing that, you should do many other (其他的) things. Students have a lot of after-school things, such as swimming, golf (高尔夫) and art. In China, many students do after-school things from Monday to Friday. But American students do them for two hours a day on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Students in the US might have more time to do their things, but they are hard (努力的) workers too.

Our school is going to add different kinds of labor courses. The courses which will begin next week can help you get some practical living skills.

Course 1 This course is to help students develop a healthy eating habit. The biggest fun of this course is that you can experience cooking. You needn’t bring any materials to the classroom. Cooking for your family or your friends one day is so cool!	Course 2 Are you interested in paper cutting, Chinese clay or kite-making? If you are interested in them, here is the chance. They sound simple but difficult to do. Miss Wang will show you how to make them. We should respect and enjoy the beauty of the traditional arts.
Course 3 You must have experienced the situation where you want to do housework but you find it tiring and hard. This course will totally change the situation. You will learn some valuable skills that can help you do cleaning.	Course 4 This course is special because the teachers will show you knowledge out of classrooms. There is a big garden which needs planting. Students will plant flowers, vegetables and some trees with the teachers’ help. But if it is rainy or windy, the course will be canceled.
