A.回答问题

Playing is an important part of childhood. It’s fun and it helps children learn skills and stay active. Whether it’s creating imaginary world out of building blocks or simply riding a bike, children love to play and they need toys. But what happens to the toys which are no longer enjoyed, or the bike that becomes too small as the child grows? Usually, they are kept somewhere and forgotten. To avoid this happening, we should make it possible to rent (租) toys. That way, they can be sent back and someone else may need them.

If lots of people share toys, it’s better for the environment because fewer toys have to be made. Making toys uses resources such as energy, plastic and wood. It can be bad for the environment. It also means children can have the chance to try out lots of different kinds of toys. Once they are bored with a toy, they can send it back to recycling banks and get a different one from them. I think it’s an environmental-friendly way and it is clean because there will be less mess to clear up at home or fewer cupboards filled with toys.

When Shanghai introduced a new garbage-sorting policy (垃圾分类政策) in July last year, the people in the city took some time to learn about it. They said that every time they took out their garbage, the workers standing by the bins would ask, “What kind of garbage are you carrying?” Starting on May 1, Beijing began a new garbage-sorting policy, People’s Daily reported. People should sort their garbage into four groups when they take out the rubbish.

There are four different colors of rubbish bins for different kinds of rubbish. The red is for harmful waste; the blue is for waste that can be recycled; the green is for kitchen waste; the yellow is for other waste. “If we don’t succeed in sorting our trash correctly we may be fined 200 yuan”, A mand interviewed by Xinhua said.

To help people sort their trash correctly, the Beijing government is giving online guidelines (指导). If people don’t know how to throw away garbage, they can look for it on the WeChat account Guanchenglishi (管城理市) to find out. By typing a key word or taking a photo, people can find out which group their waste should be in at once.

下面是某网站上的一篇介绍垃圾分类 (Sorting Rubbish) 的短文。请你根据文章内容,回答后面的五个问题,把答案写在相应的位置上。

These days we notice the rubbish bins (垃圾箱) are in different colors on the street. The bins are in different colors because they can help people sort the waste. When we throw away rubbish, we should know which bin we should choose first.

Some of us might find it hard to choose the correct bin. However, it’s actually quite important to know how to sort your rubbish. If we don’t know how to sort rubbish, it can be harder to save energy and protect the environment. If we don’t sort our rubbish, cleaners will bury (埋) all the rubbish together. It takes up large areas of ground that can be used for planting trees.

Shanghai is the first city to put rubbish-sorting into practice in China. Shanghai government asks the people to sort rubbish into four kinds. They are wet, recyclable, harmful and dry.

Wet rubbish is the rubbish that people produce after they eat or drink. Paper, metal, glass and other things that can be reused are called recyclable rubbish. Harmful rubbish includes things like medicine, batteries (电池) and so on. Finally, any rubbish that is not wet, recyclable or harmful will go in the dry rubbish bin.

Many Chinese big cities plan to put rubbish-sorting (垃圾分类) into practice. Now that you know this, perhaps you can take part in sorting the rubbish.
