Puyang is a charming city located in the northeastern part of Henan Province, China. It is known 【小题1】 its rich history, cultural heritage (遗产), and beautiful natural scenery.

In 1987, at Xishuipo, Puyang City, a dragon pattern made of clamshells (蛤壳) dating back to 6400 years ago was excavated (挖掘). It is named as the “First Dragon of China”.

Famous historical people from Puyang, such as Cang Jie, Shang Yang, Wu Qi and so on left us lots of encouraging stories. The Chinese surnames (姓氏), including Zhang, Fan and Yao were all originated in Puyang, which attracted many overseas Chinese 【小题2】 seek their roots (寻根).

In addition to its history and culture, 【小题3】 are many famous attractions in Puyang. The beautiful rivers run through the city, offering wonderful views and opportunities for boat rides. The city 【小题4】 also surrounded (环绕) by parks, and gardens, making it a peaceful and beautiful place to explore.

Sydney is the capital of New South Wales and one of the most popular 【小题1】 of Australia.

The climate (气候) of Sydney is very good. It’s not too cold during the winter and not too hot during the 【小题2】. The sky is blue, the air is fresh, and many kinds of birds are in the garden. People who live in Sydney seem to have 【小题3】 easy lifestyle. They always tell you, “Don’t worry.”

Sydney is famous 【小题4】 its deep harbor (港口). The harbor has many bays (湾) and beautiful surf beaches. Among 【小题5】, Bondi Beach is the most popular. Sydney Harbor is not only beautiful, but it 【小题6】   serves as a large port. Ships carry wool, wheat and meat from Sydney to 【小题7】 countries.

People living in Sydney like to call 【小题8】 Sydneysiders (悉尼人). They 【小题9】 mostly friendly and easygoing. When they are not working, they love to 【小题10】 themselves at the beach, swimming and sailing.

I’m so excited. Guess what— it’s my Dad’s 【小题1】 (forty) birthday next week, so we’re going to London 【小题2】 (celebrate) it! Cool, eh?

On Thursday evening, we’re flying over 【小题3】 of taking the train because travelling by air is much 【小题4】 (comfortable). As soon as (一……就……) we 【小题5】 in London, we’ll go on a tour (旅行) of the city. We’ll take a trip on the River Thames, which divides (划分) the city into two parts. This way, we can see almost every place of 【小题6】 in London.

On 【小题7】 morning, we’re going to the Tate Modern. Since it’s not 【小题8】 from our hotel, we’re planning to walk there. In the afternoon, we’re going to the London Eye. I can’t 【小题9】 to see the Houses of Parliament from up there because I have been waiting so long!

Saturday is for 【小题10】 (shop). Mum advises me 【小题11】 (buy) a teddy bear for my cousin as a present. We’re going to Portobello Road in the morning. Then in the afternoon, we’ll visit Harrods—one of 【小题12】 (famous) shops in London. Dad’s not very happy about it, but I’m sure he’ll 【小题13】 it when we’re there.

On Sunday morning, we’re going to Hyde Park, and we’re going home by plane in the afternoon.
