Nowadays in China a lot of people are trying a new activity—hiking (徒步行走). But some of them are also getting into some t【小题1】. They’re finding that a hike in the countryside is not a walk in the park.

Last year, a group of hikers went missing while hiking on Siguniang Mountain in Sichuan. Luckily, that group finally returned with no life lost, but one policeman lost his life while guiding them to s【小题2】.

Hiking is a great outdoor activity but it n【小题5】 training and preparation. If you plan on going on a l【小题6】 hike, make sure you have a compass (指南针), a map and a GPS. There is also a first aid aid kit (急救包) and e【小题7】 water and food in your bag. Please remember: your love nature, it doesn’t mean that nature loves you back. Nature can be cruel sometimes.

Travel can teach kids more than a textbook. Travelling with kids is good r【小题1】 them. They can find new interests. Travel makes information alive for kids, and makes it much more exciting than studying textbooks or d【小题2】experiments in the lab. While travelling, they learn h【小题3】to deal with new situations, and communicate with other people. They learn patience, because sometimes i【小题4】takes a long time to get to some exciting or interesting places.

I've been travelling since I was seven years old. For me, to stop travelling would be like taking something a【小题5】from my soul(灵魂).1 can't live without travelling and I wouldn't be who I am if I don't travel. Some people think it's h【小题6】to travel after having kids. But in my opinion, when people become parents, it doesn’t m【小题7】they couldn't travel any more. My children have been travelling since they were three weeks old.

Bringing a new life into the world comes with many responsibilities(责任)and I'd love to be a good mother. One of my duties is to e【小题8】 my children. I'm so thankful that my parents took me on family trips when I was y【小题9】. I've learned that the outside world is more colorful than the little one I was living in. I’m writing this from London. We 【小题1】 (arrive) here on Tuesday after staying in Paris. London is one of the most interesting cities in Europe(欧 洲), but 【小题2】 (luck), it’s also one of the most expensive places to stay in. The people in Paris were very 【小题3】 (humour) but it was more difficult to communicate (交流) with them 【小题4】 I didn’t know their language. Of course, I 【小题5】 (eat) much delicious food there.

My aunt, who’s English, says that British food is better than French food, but she’s wrong 【小题6】 that!

This evening, my aunt and uncle will take me to a musical(音乐剧) show, called The Phantom of the Opera. They say it’s one of the most wonderful 【小题7】 (show) in London. I think it would be more 【小题8】 (excite) to see a pop singer show, but that would be the 【小题9】 (bad) thing in the world for my uncle and aunt.

We will fly home to Sydney in five days. I can’t wait 【小题10】 (see) you!
