Hangzhou won its bid （申办）for the 2022 Asian Games on September 16, 2015. It will be the 【小题1】（three）time that the Games are held in a Chinese city after Beijing in 1990 and Guangzhou in 2010.

Hangzhou, 【小题2】 well-known capital city of Zhejiang Province（省份）in the southeast part of the country, has a population of 8.9 million. It is a beautiful city 【小题3】 a long history and it is developing fast nowadays. Hosting（主办）the Asian Games will help the city grow even faster.

The Games will include 36 to 40 sports. Most venues（场馆）have already been finished 【小题4】 some others will be put into use one year before the Games. The Asian Games 【小题5】 (last) from September 10 to 25, when the temperature is around 20°C and it’s a perfect time for sports.

“It’s for sure that the event will let more 【小题6】 (visitor) enjoy the beauty and charm (魅力)of his amazing city. At the same time, more roads will be built and the underground subways will be added to make the traffic 【小题7】 (easy) and better. But the best part is that it will make 【小题8】 possible for us to watch world-class games close to our homes. ” Shao Lin from Hangzhou, told the reporter 【小题9】 (excited).

The HZMB is short for the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, which is 【小题1】（广泛地） known as the longest cross-sea bridge in the world. The bridge【小题2】 （把……和……连接起来） Hong Kong and Macao to the Chinese main-land city of Zhuhai. It's 55 kilometers long in【小题3】（总数；合计）. It opened on Oct. 24, 2018 after a long period of 【小题4】（几乎） nine years of construction（建设） and is 【小题5】（提到；说到） as one of the “seven wonders of the modern world” by British Guardian.

The HZMB is strong enough to stand an 【小题6】（地震） with a magnitude（震级） of up to 8. Also, it's not just a bridge, but also part island and part tunnel（隧道） which is the world's longest undersea tunnel for road 【小题7】（交通；路上行驶的车辆）, and it allows large ships to continue passing through the sea area 【小题8】（在……上面） the tunnel.

The HZMB will make it much more【小题9】（便利的；方便的） to travel between the three areas. All the Chinese are【小题10】（骄傲的；自豪的） of this fantastic project. It is expected to drive the economic development of Hong Kong, Macao and nine Guangdong cities.
