Trip to New York

Did you take a trip to New York? Yes, I did. In fact, I【小题1】(live) in the city for one year. It is a busy city with many tall buildings and all kinds of people from different countries. There are many famous places 【小题2】 (visit), like Broadway, Central Park and Times Square. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is also a world-famous place. I【小题7】 (buy) many nice things there. Besides, it【小题8】(be) wonderful to look at the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor.

There is a movie about New York. Its name is The Day After Tomorrow. I like it very much, but I【小题9】 (not like) the ending! If things are like what the ending of the movie【小题10】(play), it will truly be a bad dream.

There are many famous places to visit in London. The most famous one is “Buckingham Palace” b【小题1】 it’s the Queen’s home. “Tower Bridge” is over 100 years old and you can see it when you take a b【小题2】 trip on the “River Thames”.

London has lots of things for families to do together. If you want to go s【小题3】, Harrods is London’s most famous store but it’s very e【小题4】. However, you’ll find that some markets s【小题5】 some very nice things and they are much cheaper. And you must visit “Hamleys” because it is London’s best toy shop. You can buy anything from anywhere around the world in London.

What about food? There are many restaurants in London, but the “Rainforest Cafe” is very good f【小题6】 children. When you go into the restaurant, you will see paintings of the forest and a【小题7】 everywhere! You will feel that you are just in a zoo. And in summer it’s very nice to t【小题8】 food and drinks to have a picnic on one of London’s lovely green parks.
