There are lots of amazing places for people to imagine and expect in the world. But many people 【小题1】 (encourage) to go into Cambridge.

I come from Cambridge, a beautiful city in the east of England. I have grown up there and experienced many 【小题2】 (wonder) times. I have many good 【小题3】 (memory) of it. In recent years, it develops 【小题4】 (rapid) and has changed a lot. For this, more and more tourists take an interest in it.

Cambridge is 80 kilometers from London. London is in 【小题5】 south of England. It has a population of about seven and a half million, so it is 【小题6】 (big) and busier than Cambridge. It is about 2,000 years old, and it is famous 【小题7】 Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Tower Bridge. England 【小题8】 (it) is part of an island. It owns rich tourism resources. Tourists like the mountain areas and beautiful lakes in the north, and the hills and pretty villages in the south. So it’s really perfect for you 【小题9】 (pay) a visit. It is never very hot in summer 【小题10】 very cold in winter. So you can visit   England any time of the year. Or it will be a pity in the rest of time.

I like travelling. Last year I 【小题1】 a good time during the May Day holiday. I went to Beijing 【小题2】 my parents.

That was 【小题3】 first visit to Beijing. Everything was new to me. We went there by train on April 30th. There 【小题4】 too many people on it. It 【小题5】 us about three hours to get there. We went to the Palace Museum in 【小题6】 morning. And we saw many people. Then we went to Wangfujing Street. We did some shopping there and I 【小题7】 some gifts for my friends. And my parents bought me a 【小题8】 coat. I like blue best. We went to the Great Wall on May 2nd. It was exciting 【小题9】 stand on the Great Wall! I also tried lots of famous foods in Beijing. Everything tasted really good. 【小题10】, Beijing duck was my favorite. We went back home on May 3rd. What a great trip!

Last year I went on an amazing trip by boat along the west coast of Canada. It was my brother Harry’s idea. He’s a reporter who’s also a great fan of boats. But I’d dreamed of v【小题1】 the area. So I kept asking Harry if I could go, too, until he a【小题2】 at last!

A few weeks before we left home, there was much rain in the area we were going to. But l【小题3】 the weather was fine at last. However, I was b【小题4】 with my work so I didn’t think about what needed doing. But Harry promised he’d take c【小题5】 of everything, so I knew everything would be all right.
