I have traveled to many different countries, both for pleasure and work, but none has given me such a special or an unforgettable experience as my time spent in South Africa.

I had thought of South Africa 【小题1】 a nice and beautiful country, but what I thought and what I got were 【小题2】. After my flight was landed, I took a long-trip bus and got to a small rural (农村的) town. When I went into a 【小题3】 (classroom), I saw broken walls, glasses, desks and chairs, I felt really 【小题4】 and wanted to leave soon.

I 【小题5】 (teach) English in Grade eight. My English was different from their African English. We experienced a few difficult 【小题6】 (week) before their African English could get on well with my English. Then I could start to teach them something, and they liked my lesson 【小题7】 (slow).

In my 【小题8】 English class, they had prepared a song for me, and they sang in true African style. They didn’t want to say goodbye to 【小题9】 (I)! I gave these children so many things they hadn’t gotten before, while in return I was given so much.

They will never forget me, as I will never forget them. If I have a 【小题10】 to go there again, I certainly will go!

My first home was a beautiful meadow with a pond of clear water. Our master, Farmer Grey was a kind man. My mother and I had a h【小题1】life. She worked during the day. I played with the other young horses and had great fun.

One day, my master sold me to Squire Gordon. He lived with his family in a big house. “You’re a b【小题2】horse,” he said. “You have a beautiful black coat. I shall call you Black Beauty.”

I learned to c【小题3】my master on my back and pull a coach. I learned to wear reins（缆绳）and a bit in my mouth, I did not like them but all the h【小题4】had to wear them.

My master had another horse called Ginger. She was u【小题5】. She bit and kicked people. Ginger and I pulled a coach（四轮马车）together. We became friends. Ginger told me about her l【小题6】when she was young. Her master was not kind to her. Squire Gordon and his men felt sorry for Ginger. They were always kind to her. She s【小题7】biting and kicking people. She became a happy horse.

One day in autumn, Mr. Gordon and John went on a long journey, and I pulled the coach. The weather was rainy and windy. They could not s【小题8】well in the rain. We came to a bridge. I stopped. “Something is w【小题9】,” I thought. Mr. Gordon and John wanted me to go on to the bridge. But I did not m【小题10】. Just then a man saw us. “Hey there! Stop! The bridge is broken in the middle,” he cried.

“Thank you, Beauty!” they said.

My children are growing up fast. My daughter is 16 and my boy is already in junior high school. As they get bigger, our house seems to get 【小题1】.So we want to【小题2】 some of our things in a【小题3】 sale and give the money to a children's home.

We have already【小题4】a lot of things from our bedrooms. We have decided to each sell five things that we no longer use. My son was quite【小题5】at first. Although he has not 【小题6】with his old toys for a long time, he still wanted keep them. For example, he has owned a train and railway set 【小题7】 his fourth birthday, and he played with it almost every week until he was about seven. And he did not want to lose his toy monkey, either. He slept next to monkey every night when he was a child. My daughter was more understanding, although she also felt sad to part with certain toys.

As for me, I did not want to give 【小题8】my football shirts, but, to be honest, I have not played for a while now. I am getting older, too!
