In some schools, children use tablets in the classroom. They read, write and listen with them in the classroom. “Tablets are important,” say the children. “They help us learn. They are convenient (便利) to use.”

Many children play games on their tablets, “We like games,” say the children. “They’re fun. But we can play only at the weekend.”

Tablets are good for music, too. “We bring (带) our tablets to music lessons,” says Alice. “We listen to music and we learn new songs with them! I like to use tablets.”
Tablets for Talking
You can also talk to people with a tablet. “We talk to Grandma and Grandpa on Fridays,” says Paul. “They live in Australia. There is a camera on the tablet, so we can see our grandparents, too.”
For students, tablets are good because they are good partners (伙伴) for them. But many parents think tablets aren’t good for children, because children shouldn’t (不应该) stay at home with their tablets. Children should go out and play with other children.
