Jim is a policeman in New York. He is also a father of two sons and three daughters. He really loves his job and his children. Last Monday morning, Jim drove to work after taking his children to the school. But suddenly (突然), he saw a monkey on the way, so he brought it into his car. After doing this, it was already a quarter to eight. Jim was afraid to be late, so he drove quickly. Fifteen minutes later, he came to the police office with the monkey. His leader (领导) asked, “Why do you bring a monkey here?” Jim said, “This monkey was walking on the way, not following any of the rules. So I bring it here.” The leader said,   “Oh! You’re so stupid (傻的). You should take it to the zoo.” Then Jim took the monkey out.

In the afternoon, Jim still took the monkey to the police office. The leader said angrily, “Oh! It’s terrible. Why is the monkey still here? I let you take it to the zoo!” Jim said, “Yes, sir. I took it to the zoo in the morning. And I wished to take it to see a movie after work today.”
