I’m Daming. I come from Taiyuan, the capital city of Shanxi province. It’s a nice city 【小题1】 a long history of more than 2,500 years. Fen River runs across the city. On both sides of the 【小题2】, there are lots of flowers and grass .【小题3】 make the city look more beautiful.

There are many places of interest in my hometown, such as Jinci Temple, Mengshan Giant Buddha and Yingze Park. If you come to my hometown, I can show you around these beautiful 【小题4】.

In my hometown, there 【小题5】 also a lot of nice food. People in Shanxi began to make food with flour (面粉)more than 2,000 years 【小题6】. There are many different kinds of food made of flour. Among them, noodles are 【小题7】 most famous. And among the noodles, my 【小题8】 noodles are sliced noodles. To help more people enjoy the delicious noodles, now there is a festival about food made of flour in Shanxi every year. 【小题9】 you are a food lover, don’t miss it.

My name is Chen Lan. My home is in Gulangyu(鼓浪屿). 【小题1】 is Gulangyu, do you know? It is in Xiamen. It is 【小题2】 /nɪə/ the sea (海). Gulangyu is a small place, 【小题3】 it is very nice and clean. There 【小题4】 no cars, no buses and no bikes. People only walk. So it is very 【小题5】 /kwaɪət/. My house is in the center of Gulangyu. 【小题6】 /bɪˈhaɪnd/ my house there is a big old 【小题7】. My grandfather tells me the tree is very old. There are many 【小题8】 (bird) in the tree. We call it “bird tree”.   

My house is near the sea. The sea is big and blue. There are a lot of fish in the sea. After school, I go there and catch fish 【小题9】 my friends. It is very interesting. I like eating and 【小题10】 (catch) fish.

There are many places of interest in Hangzhou. Last month, when my uncle Ted invited my family to go there, I was really excited.

We got there 【小题1】 plane. We spent three hours in total on the way. When we landed 【小题2】 (safe), it was 11:00 at night. We found a nice hotel to live in. And we chose a 【小题3】 /'stændəd/ room with two single beds. It was very clean. And the 【小题4】 (condition) there were very good.

The next morning we had a big breakfast. Then we couldn’t 【小题5】 /weit/ to visit the West Lake. The scenery(风景) there was 【小题6】 beautiful that we all lost ourselves in it. We rode bikes there and had a wonderful time.

On the【小题7】(two) day we visited the Yue Temple(岳庙). It's famous for our national hero, Yue Fei. We couldn’t find a 【小题8】/ 'prɔpə/ place to take photos because there were too many people. 【小题9】 we were a little tired, we still felt very happy.
