Ideally (理想地), the speed of 5G can be up to 10 GB per second. It can download (下载) a 10 GB film in just 9 seconds. What can you do while waiting? 4G, eating breakfast. 5G, just asking is it downloaded yet. Did you know 5G can connect many different smart devices(装置) to one network? Chinese technology company HUAWEI is leading the way in developing 5G. It has more patterns for 5G than any other company in the world.

Apple’s first watch can not only tell you the right time, the smart watch also has a set of technology that can collect a lot of health data (数据). When you have been sitting too long, it will “hit” you on the wrist (手腕) 10 minutes before the top of the hour.

“A lot of doctors believe that sitting is new illness.” Apple’s CEO Tim Cook said.

Many workers used the Apple Watch first. Then, Apple started selling the Apple Watch in April 2015. “We have a lot of meeting and a lot of workers,” Cook said, “and ten minutes before the hour, the watch will hit you and everybody will start standing up.”

“It took some time to get used to, but it’s actually really excellent.” He said.

Users have the chance to share their health data with doctors. And people believe it makes them healthier.

The University of British Columbia has created Canada’s first 5G-powered smart campus. Its high-tech helps students learn more and faster, as well as makes it easier for teachers to give their classes.

At Staffordshire University in the UK, many students enjoy talking to Beacon and asking it questions. Beacon is an AI chat robot that was developed by the university. It is like a personal assistant（助手）for students at the school. They can ask it questions, such as whether or not one of their classes is canceled.

Some universities in the world use the voice-activated（声控的）smart assistant—Alexa. It can help teachers run their classes better. For example, Alexa can remember the teacher’s classroom preferences, such as how bright the lights should be, and change them accordingly.

Universities often have their own transportation, roads, shops and banks. They are good places to test smart technology because they have control over all of their buildings. “Universities are like a living lab,” said a designer who is working on a smart campus development for the University of Glasgow.
