My name is Jack. I’m a worker of the National Zoo now.

Every morning, I have to get up at 5 o’clock and give food to all the animals. The animals eat different food. The lions and the tigers love to eat meat. The rabbits eat carrots. The birds eat nuts. The elephants like to eat vegetables.

At 10 o’clock, I clean (打扫) the animals’ “rooms” (房间). This is dangerous, when with lions and tigers. I have to lock the animals in the other rooms when I am cleaning. Then I play with the animals.

I have to work on Sundays and public holidays (公众假日), but I can have a holiday one day in a week.

I like to be with the animals. I like to tell my friends about the animals. Welcome to the National Zoo.
