Rick is only fifteen years old, but he’s very rich. Two years ago, Rick started a football website for young people. “I became interested in computers 7 years ago because my father worked with computers. As a little boy, I also loved football and I decided to make a website for people of my age.”

Rick started the “Football OK”, and now more than 20,000 people visit it every day.

Rick is a schoolboy and a businessman（商人）, too. He usually gets up at six o’clock and checks his emails. Then he goes to school from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. In the evenings, he always works for about four hours on his website.

Rick’s next plan is a new website. “At the moment I am thinking about a new website on American football, maybe for the next year.”

Talking about the future, Rick says he doesn’t know about it. “Maybe I will sell the website. I really don’t know. I’ll just wait and see.” He always says, “Nothing is impossible.”

Really anything is possible.

I love sports, and I like football very much. Li Hua is my favourite football star.

Li Hua is 22 years old. He is a new member of Huanghe Football Club. He comes from Guangdong, but now lives in Beijing. He looks strong and plays football very well. Many people like him.

Li Hua plays football every day. In his free time, he studies English. He also enjoys listening to music. It makes him happy.

Li Hua wants to play in the next World Cup. I hope his dream comes true.

Long long ago, here lived a giraffe in the forest. He was the tallest of all the animals, so he was too proud (骄傲) and always laughed at others. A monkey decided to teach the giraffe a lesson.

One day, the monkey led the giraffe to a tree. He said to the giraffe, “Look at the tall tree. There’s some lovely fruit growing on the tree, but you wouldn’t be able to pick it.”

The giraffe said, “It is impossible. Just watch me.” He tried to pick the fruit, but it was just out of reach.

“I said you couldn’t reach it, but I can.” said the monkey. Then, the monkey jumped onto the giraffe’s neck. He reached out his arm and picked the fruit.

The monkey said, “We could not do it alone (单独), but we can do it together. So don’t be so proud.”

After that, the giraffe didn’t boast any more. He even became friends with the monkey.
