When the serious virus(病毒) broke out, all the students had study online at their home. A student became popular on the Internet because he was sitting on the roof(屋顶) and studying carefully through his neighbour’s WiFi. This hard-working student reminds us of the importance of self-discipline(自律). It is one of the most excellent habits. As we all know, good habits can make people better.

For students, here are several steps you can follow to develop a good habit.

Set your study plan and goal. Before you begin to work on your new plan, make sure that your goal is reasonable and it can be completed(完成) within a certain period(时期) step by step.

Find a habit you want to develop. Having good habits helps to achieve your goals. It’s said that it takes only 21 days to develop a good habit. Try one you are really interested in and then it will lead you to a better life.

Give yourself enough time and stick(坚持) to your plan. Starting a new study plan is difficult at first, but it is worth the effort as long as you keep it up. Each person’s situation is different. It’s important to teach children to create strong passwords (密码), and to remind them that passwords mustn’t be shared with anyone, not even best friends.

【小题1】 A strong password is a word that is as difficult as possible to guess because it looks like a set of random characters (随机的字符). It’s also wise to use the whole keyboard to mix a password with letters, numbers and symbols. 【小题2】

The following tips will tell you how to create a strong and safe password:

Tip 1: Think of a sentence that is easy to remember, but difficult to guess. For example: “My son Peter is five years old and my daughter Tina is one year old.” 【小题3】 So what you can do is to use the first letter of each word to make a new password that seems to be meaningless. That is “mspifyoamdtioyo”.

Tip 2: Make the password more difficult to guess by mixing big and small letters. One way to do this is to use big and small letters one after another. 【小题4】

Tip 3: Still using the sentence above, you can also add numbers that are meaningful to you. As a result, the new password will be “Mspi5yOaMdTilyO”.

Tip 4: Add punctuation (标点符号) and symbols to make the password much stronger. 【小题5】 For example: “MsPi3y0@MdTi!y0”. (o=0, a=@, 1=!)

A private middle school in Britain has stopped morning lessons and moved lessons to start at 1:30 p.m. every day. Its teachers believed their students would study better after a good rest.

Instead of rising early for a 9 a.m. start, students at Hampton Court House in Surrey, can enjoy a lie in and work from 1.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Head teacher Guy Holloway said the move was from the study by neuroscientists (神经系统科学家).

According to the study, teenagers usually go to bed late and struggle to get up early. So, many teenagers do not get enough sleep during the weekdays and this can, and often does, have a great influence on teenagers’ mental and physical health (身心健康).

The new move began from September last year and the students think it’s quite good. The students have become more efficient and less stressed (压力). They can learn better. They can also avoid rush-hour traffic. This school has the latest start time in the U.K. and is the only one to begin lessons in the afternoon.
