Sometimes, my friend asks for all of the answers to our homework. I tell her that it wouldn’t be fair if I have her the answers, so she gets angry.
Berk
Answer
Dear Berk,
You’re right - it’s not fair to just give the answers to your friend after you’ve already done all the work.
You could also try to help her with her homework if you have time — but don’t just give her the answers. Try to help her work through the problems so she can learn how to do them herself.
Mike
Dear Berk,
I had a friend like yours in primary school and had this problem for a long time.
So, if you still want to be friends with her, try to be friendly. Tell her that getting answers from other people would only do harm to herself. People learn new things by thinking and solving problems on their own.
You should also tell her that you can help her with her studies. You can go over the lessons together, for example. Maybe she won’t get angry and will do homework by herself.
