We need lots of different food to keep healthy. A food pyramid (金字塔) shows the different food groups and how much of each we need to have a healthy diet (饮食). That is to say what we can eat and how much we can eat.

Eating well is important for all of us. In the short time, it can help us to feel good. In the long time, a healthy and balanced (均衡的) diet can help us keep healthy.

Different countries have different food pyramids. In many countries, there are six kinds of food in the food pyramid. We should eat much important food and eat a little food that is not very important.

Which food should we eat more? The answer is: vegetables, fruit, fish and eggs. And which food should we eat not too much? The answer is: oil (油) and fat meat. Next time, when you have meals, think more about it.

It’s important to eat different foods in a healthy way. We should follow the pyramid rule. It could be a good way for us to make our lives happy and nice. Now we know what we should do and don’t forget to do it.
