Ann comes from Canada. She is in Beijing with her parents now. She is a student of No.2 Middle School. She can speak a little Chinese. Her father works in a hospital. Her mother is a teacher of English. She is a good teacher.   She loves her students a lot. The students are kind. All of her family like to be in China and all of them like Chinese food very much.

I’m Mark. I’m 12. I have learned a lot about cycling and cycled about two hundred miles (英里) with my friends. We all felt very excited.

My name is Sam. I’m one year older than Mark. I have entered a competition. At last, I won it and the prize was a seven—day holiday to my favourite country —America.

You can call me Linda. I’m the same age as Mark. I have been to Hong Kong Disneyland with my parents. I was excited to see so many cartoon characters (人物) because I often dreamed about them.

John is my name. I’m one year younger than Sam. I have learned to ride a horse because I thought it was exciting. Before I learned it, I fell off the horse many times. But that was very interesting for me.

Nie Jieming, a Chinese and American boy, is 12 years old. His dad is Chinese and his mom is American. So his English and Chinese are very good. He is in Class Three, Grade Seven. In his life (生活), he has three good friends. They are Lucy, Bob and Kitty.

Lucy is a nice girl. She is eleven. She has long hair. Blue is her favorite color. Her pencils and rulers are blue, too.

Bob has a wide mouth. He can speak English, Japanese (日语) and Chinese. He is in a black T-shirt. His friends know he likes black very much.

Kitty is a cat. It is white and black. It has blue eyes and short legs. Fish is its favorite.
