It is a long time since the story happened to me! And it is an unforgettable experience for me. ___________ a cold winter afternoon, I was walking home from a supermarket. My shopping bags were so heavy _________ I decided to stop to have a rest in the park. I walked towards the gate of the park. Then I noticed a man walking out of the restaurant in front of me. He _________ a paper bag in his hand. He walked to a nearby dustbin and started looking through it.

Seeing this, I suddenly felt sad. ___________ poor man he was! I knew the man would take all that he could get, _________ I went up to him and gave him some fruit. The man, with wrinkles (皱纹) on his face, looked up in surprise and took what I gave him.

A big smile appeared on his face and I felt very _______. Then he said “Wow! First someone gave me this sandwich, then this drink, and now some delicious fruit. This is my daughter’s lucky day. I am sure _________ she will be very happy. Thank you, boy!” Then he went away, singing a song happily.

Just then, I understood what the saying “Giving is getting” really meant. Everyone in the world needs help, everyone can _________ help and everyone will be helped to showing kindness. Giving sometimes doesn’t cost much, but it means a lot to the people _________ you help. The man’s happiness at the moment comes into __________ mind every time I have the chance to help others.

On February 3rd, I volunteered at a nursing home to help look after the old people there.This experience allowed me ________ a better understanding of the need to care for the old.

In the morning, I walked into the nursing home with a smile as ________ as sunshine.Then I joined the other volunteers ________ they were doing their work.I ________ to clean tables and windows first.We tried to make the nursing home tidy and comfortable to live in.

After cleaning, some of us ________ the old people haircuts, chatted with them, or cooked food for them in the kitchen.I was busy putting up Spring Festival couplets（对联） .Seeing them smiling, I felt a sense of joy deep in ________ heart. ________ the end of the day, everyone got together and sang the beautiful song The Grateful Heart（《感恩的心》） . ________ happy we felt!

When my parents asked me ________ I thought of my work in the evening, I told them proudly,   “I carried on the tradition of respecting and loving the old.”

I think the things that ________ old people really need are company（陪伴） and love.By giving them love, we can also feel the kind of joy that can only be gained by giving.

When I was fifteen years old, I became very interested in shopping. After being just a buyer for a while, I wanted to sell something. I had many things that I no longer needed at home. I knew ________ the help of my father I could make money. So for months and months I enjoyed myself by ________ things on my dad’s bank account.

On July 18th, 2015, I made my own account and began ________ my own business.

Things were going great and then I realized ________ selling things around the house wasn’t enough for me, so I decided to expand my business by running a resale shop. I went around to the yard sales and bought things at low prices and sold them at ________ prices to make money.

Last October, I went to a yard sale that was a little bit different. A lady had many nice things to sell. I went up to ________ and had a conversation with her. Through the communication, I knew she was jobless at that moment and needed money to feed her family. I thought I could do it better and ________ for her. So I made a decision to help her out. She looked at me for a while and then said yes. After that I took away some of her things and over the next month I made ¥1,500 for her! When I gave her the money, she broke down into tears ________. I have never felt so ________ to help someone in my life. I know my skills could ________ to help those in need. And sometimes just because of one small act of kindness, I could make a big difference to others.
