Most students go to school by bus in America. It’s common to take the subway to school in some cities. But in small towns or cities, it is still popular to walk to school.
In America, the school bus has the same color—yellow. It’s very convenient（便利的）because it can take students right to their schools. It can also give students time to talk with their friends. However, the school bus is usually slow and doesn’t come on time.
The subway, in many cities, can get around quickly. However, it’s not the cheapest and is crowded during the rush hour. Another disadvantage of the subway is that the stops are not so close to the school, and students have to walk a long way or take a bus from the subway stop to school.
For many students, who live close to school, walking is the best. It’s free and good exercise. But if your schoolbag is full of books, or the weather is too bad, it’s not a pleasant way to walk to school.
