London is such a wonderful city. It is very large. The River Thames runs through the city from west 【小题1】 east. The city has two parts—the South and the North. In the North there are important buildings, shops, big parks 【小题2】 interesting places.

The weather in London is good. In winter it is not very cold. And in summer it is not very hot because the city 【小题3】 (be) near the sea. People say London is a foggy city and that it often 【小题4】 (rain). It is true.

Last year, when I 【小题5】 (visit) London, I saw one of the thickest fogs in years. You could hardly see 【小题6】 (you) hand in front of your face. Cars and buses moved along with their 【小题7】 (light) on.

When evening fell, the weather grew even 【小题8】 (bad). The fog was as thick as milk, and all the buses and cars 【小题9】 (stop). I had 【小题10】 important meeting on the other side of the town, but it was impossible to find a taxi. I had to get there on foot.

The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games will be held from February 4th to 20th, 2022. The Olympic flame（圣火）【小题1】 already been 【小题2】 (light). It is a symbol 【小题3】 peace and friendship all over the world.

On October 18th, the lighting ceremony 【小题4】 (take) place in Olympia, Greece, the birthplace of the ancient Olympic Games. Today, I’m going to tell you something about my trip to Dongqian Lake. Dongqian Lake is 【小题1】 largest natural lake in Zhejiang Province. I visited it last summer. It was my first time to go there. The weather was fine and the air was fresh. The flowers there not only looked beautiful, 【小题2】 also smelt nice. These gave me great pleasure!
