Three days ago, Tom, one of my classmates bought some food from a supermarket. He bought some beef, pork, chicken, fruit and vegetables. Because it was his fifteenth birthday, and he wanted to have a big party at home. He invited most of his classmates to share the food together. But after they had the food, all of them didn’t feel well. They got poisoned (中毒) and had a stomachache.
Then they were sent to the nearby hospital at once. The doctor there looked them over carefully, and then said the food they ate were poisonous. The doctor gave them some injections (打针) and some medicine to take at home. They were out of danger at last. But it was very dangerous. If they weren’t sent to the hospital in time, they would have had the danger of dying.
From this accident they realized (意识到) the importance of food safety. I hope all of us can pay more attention to it. If everyone can do something, there will be fewer food safety problems in our society. And I think the government should do something to solve the problem, too.
