It sounds strange, but doctors say drinking 500ml of beetroot juice could lower blood pressure(血压) after just one hour. So drink up the pink juice.
·Think outside the box
In our life we probably spend 17 years on the sofa, and 7 years on watching TV. Next time you hear yourself say, “I haven’t got time to go to the gym”, don’t find this excuse but do something healthy instead.
·Hug your friend
Giving your friend a hug doesn’t just warm the heart; it can protect it too. A study found that hugging your friend for 20 seconds could let the blood pressure down and make you happy.
·Eat less salt
We eat around 9.5g of salt a day; but the government wants us to cut this to no more than 6g, as high levels of salt can increase your blood pressure.
