“Time for dinner!” Every Saturday night, Dad and I rush to the table on hearing those words because of the delicious food and our weekly movie night as well.

I became fond of watching movies under my dad’s 【小题1】. It wasn’t long before I found watching a movie alone not enjoyable. Therefore, movie night has become a 【小题2】 in our family. For me, it’s more than just a form of entertainment (娱乐). Rather, it’s an activity which brings the three of us closer. During movie nights, we all come to the table, enjoy dinner and talk about the film. This activity has the 【小题3】 power to drive away all our stress and tiredness and 【小题4】 us to forget our troubles. How I wish time would slow down on those evenings!

Do you know the movie I, Robot? It tells us a story about the future.

The year is 2035 and robots are just as common 【小题1】 smart phones. Robots play an important role in people’s lives. People use their robots to do lots of things, 【小题2】 as cooking, doing housework and 【小题3】 their dogs for a walk. Robots have to 【小题4】 human’s orders, because their makers make them do so. A policeman called Spooner doesn’t like robots. He doesn’t think humans can make 【小题5】 with their robots! However, the scientist Susan has 【小题6】 ideas. Susan works on robots’ minds and she thinks in the future robots will become 【小题7】 than humans.

When Spooner and Susan work together, they find that something 【小题8】 wrong with the world’s robots. A few robots have 【小题9】 own ideas and they’re trying to get out of humans’ control(控制)! So the humans are getting ready 【小题10】 it. Of course, these robots’ dream doesn’t come true. Humans work hard to control their robots again and finally they succeed.

What do you feel like watching today? While some people stick to only one kind of movie, I like to watch different kinds depending on how I feel that day.

When I’m down or tired, I 【小题1】 movies that can cheer me up. Comedies like Men in Black or cartoons like Kung Fu Panda often have funny dialog and usually have a happy 【小题2】. After watching the funny performances, I’m filled with hope again and the problems I have suddenly seem less serious. Laughing for two hours is a good way to relax and often leave me some 【小题3】 memories.

I don’t watch dramas or documentaries when I’m sad or tired. Dramas like Titanic make me even sadder. Documentaries can be interesting, 【小题4】 when I’m tired, I don’t want to think too much. I don’t mind action movies 【小题5】 Spider-Man when I’m too tired to think. I can just shut off my brain, sit back and enjoy watching an exciting superhero who always saves the world just in time.

Once in a while, I like to watch movies that are scary. They can be fun, but I’m too scared to watch 【小题6】 alone. I always bring a friend who isn’t afraid of these kinds of movies, and it doesn’t feel so scary anymore.
