There are twelve 【小题1】 (month) in a year and my favorite is June.

June 1st is 【小题2】 (children) Day. On the day my mother often 【小题3】 (buy) some beautiful things for me. Last year, she bought me a skirt 【小题4】 red. I really like it. There are also 【小题5】 (interest) activities in June at school. On June 5th, we have a ping-pong game. I think it is fun. I like playing it 【小题6】 my friends and watching ping-pong games on TV. In the middle of June, we have a reading festival. It lasts (持续) a 【小题7】. So we have no lessons for seven days. During (在……期间) the reading festival, students act out (表演) 【小题8】 (they) favorite stories in the book. Our teacher says reading helps us to learn and think. On June 23rd, we have a school trip. We’ll go to East Lake. I think we can have 【小题9】 good time there.

School Day is great, 【小题10】. We have it on June 29th. On that day, my parents can come to my school.

For some teenagers, being an adult（成年人）is the coolest thing in the world. Adult’s life has 【小题1】（没有东西） to do with homework or exams. They can make money and do whatever they want. How 【小题2】（极好的）! But is it true?

To have a taste of the adult world, teachers advised students 【小题3】（完成） a piece of special homework called “Working with Your Parents for One Day” in the summer holiday.

Wang Hui’s mother works as a ticket collector in the park. On an early morning in 【小题4】（七月）, the 14-year-old girl set out working together with her mother. 【小题5】（百） of visitors came to the park that day. Every time, Wang Hui and her mother would greeted them with a 【小题6】（微笑）.

“I think the work is 【小题7】（难对付的）. I should understand my mom more.”

Li Ming, 14, spent his day in 【小题8】（帮助） in a car. His father is a taxi driver. Li thought he would enjoy a car tour around the city. In 【小题9】（事实）, making money isn’t easy and his father didn’t even have time for lunch.

“Now I know how hard it is to make money”. Li said. It is believed that students will get close to adult world and 【小题10】（改变）their ideas about that after the special homework.

It was unusually quiet in the emergency room（急救室）【小题1】December 25. I was the nurse on duty. A woman and four small 【小题2】（child）showed up at my desk.

【小题3】woman said they were all sick. But when I asked for more information about their illnesses，none of them could tell me 【小题4】（clear）. I was sure something was wrong,but I didn't say anything. The family were gathering by the Christmas tree.The youngest child 【小题6】（point）at the TV and talking about something with his mother. The 【小题7】one was looking at a card on the Christmas tree.

I 【小题8】（enter）my office and took out all the presents that 【小题9】（prepare）for my sons. Also,some food and drinks were put on the table.I asked the family to get together, eating, singing,【小题10】（dance）and sharing the gifts.We all had a warm and happy Christmas.
