How to Develop a Good Reading Habit?

A good book can teach you a lot. It can open your eyes and clean up your minds. If you want to get into a good reading habit, here are some ways to develop it.

Choose interesting books. If you’re not interested in the book that you’re reading, it can make reading boring. But if you’re really into what you’re reading, you won’t be able to put the book down and reading will be fun.

When they are close to the leader, they could get an information directly and quickly, and get better chances to be promoted. For instance, a roommate of mine, working in the student’s union, developed a close friendship with the chief. So when he left the union, he promoted her as the chief directly. The ability of her and her fellow workmates is almost of the same standard. With the advantage of successful relationship, she wins at last.

The importance of studying hard at school is better than that of good relationship. Real skills make sure of a steady(稳定的) performance in a company. That is, only skillful employees can survive in a company. An uncle of mine, for example, fight for his future in a company. He is really a cold man, and always serious but hard-working at school. It is the knowledge which promise him a bright future. Bosses only desire for talented workers who will create profits(利益) for them. When it comes to cutting members, the smart people with relationship will surely be cut firstly, however men with real skills would be the last to be cut.

More significantly(意味深长的), hard-working is a special feature even in a company. Hard-working is the deposit(积蓄、积累) of years, it’s a special attitude throughout one’s life. People who study hard at school are more likely to study hard in their career. When we were in a university, hard-working promised a great academic performance(学业成绩). When we are in a company, hard-working made us adapt(适应) better and faster to a new condition. In our life, hard-working get us to continue learning all the time. There is no wonder that graduates working hard at school have better performance in their career.

From what have been discussed above, we may safely draw a conclusion (得出结论) that working hard in school is more important. Workers studying hard at school have better ability to solve problems. On the contrary(相反), for people depend on getting along well with others, their career seems to be unsteady.

Few films could make me laugh from beginning to end, but the director(导演) and actor Xu Zheng’s Lost in Russia, just did that.

Last Friday, I watched the movie. This film makes us think about the relationship between our parents and us. Do you have problems in getting along with your parents? Here is some advice for you:

Try to share things with them. Your parents will love hearing the things about your life. Besides, you can ask your parents about their childhoods.

Ask your parents to do some activities with you. You can play a game, do an art project(项目) or cook dinner. In this way, both your parents and you will understand each other better.

Listen to what your parents are saying. Try to imagine what they are feeling and “put yourself in their shoes”. Try saying, “I understand that you are worried about my safety when I stay out late, but it’s important for me to socialize(和他人交往) and go out with my friends.”
