I am planning my summer holiday this year. I don’t know【小题1】 I should have a lazy holiday or an exciting one. I 【小题2】（travel）to Southern Spain with my best friends Joanna and Ling several times since 2018. We stayed in 【小题3】 four-star hotel. It was quite expensive but we really enjoyed【小题4】（we）and had lots of happy memories! This year, Joanna is going away with her parents to Greece, so it’ll be just Ling and me. Ling wants us to go on an adventurous holiday in Africa. She wants 【小题5】（walk）in the desert and sleep in the open air. She says it will be more interesting and better than having a lazy holiday, because we can learn about the world around us and see some wild animals. 【小题6】I haven’t decided where to go yet. For me, a holiday means relaxing on a beach. It always makes me have a feeling of【小题7】.（satisfy）

Ling says that we will see elephants and zebras and have some amazing experiences. Maybe she’s bored with lying 【小题8】 the sun all day. But will it be safe for two girls to go traveling there?【小题9】,（actual）I will be a little nervous. Ling asks me to make up my mind by next Monday so that she can book the tickets. It will cost each of us $1,400 to go to Africa, but 【小题10】（little）than half that amount for two weeks in Portugal.

Where would you like to go on your summer vacation? Zhuo Yanglinger, a middle school student, would like to 【小题1】 (度过) her summer vacation in Africa. The 15-year-old girl lives in Chongqing. But from 2016, she started to visit Kenya, an African country, every summer. Zhuo Qiang, her father, works there.

Zhuo Qiang, now 46, 【小题2】 (leave) China and moved to Kenya in 2011. He started an organization (机构) to help the wild animals there. He did a great 【小题3】 (工作). And there is a movie called Lion Heart 【小题4】 (关于) him.

Zhuo Yanglinger is very proud of (为……感到自豪) her father. When she stays in Kenya, she always 【小题5】   (try) to help her father. She takes notes, photos and translates (翻译) for Chinese 【小题6】 (visit).

“I’m so happy that I can help my father and tell others about our work. I also want to do 【小题7】 (某事) for the world like my father,” she says.
