The Heliodrome is in the peaceful countryside in France. It was built to keep its rooms and paintings in the shade(阴影)all day during summer. C. Pas House lies near the beach in California, USA. It has four separate rooms, including the living room, a kitchen, a bedroom and an area for table tennis. D. Freston Tower in southern England has lasted for several centuries. There are six floors and the sitting room is right at the top. From the sitting room, you can see the beautiful river and fields nearby. E. Created by Walter Gropius, a well-known American architect, Gropius House is one of the most important buildings of the last century. It was once Walter’s family home but it can be visited now. F. Crossway was designed by Richard Hawlces. Less than 20 years old, it uses little energy because the sun produces all its electricity. This unusual house has helped Richard Hawkes win lots of prizes. G. Keret House could be the world’s smallest house. It is just 122cm wide! Although it was first considered as an art installation(装置艺术)instead of a house, it is now serving as a place to stay for writers and artists.
