Our school held a music concert last night. The concert started at six o’clock and ended at eight thirty. In this concert, many students performed very well. Diana is one of them. She was the best performer. She is good at playing the piano. When she was playing the piano, everyone listened to this wonderful music quietly. After she finished playing, everyone cheered for her.

From nine o’clock to half past nine, I was visiting her. Wow, she joined the school music club a year ago. She learns how to play the piano there every Saturday. Mr. Huang teaches her to play the piano. He is a pianist. He is kind to her. Diana hopes that I can also join the school music club. She would like to teach me to play the piano. I am very happy. We become good friends.

I am on the road a lot for my job and have seen a lot of accidents.

One day. I was heading to a faraway (遥远的) town. I made my way around a curve (弯道) and went down a hill when l saw a car in my lane move into the other lane suddenly. It made the cars in the other lane slam their breaks. I return, the cars behind them stopped as well. Still, some of the cars hit each other and made accidents happen on the road.

After a while, things were almost cleaned up. All the cars drove away. Still, I saw a big rock in the road. I thought I’d move it to stop similar accidents from happening again. And just as I got out of my car to pick it up, I saw a man on the other side of the road running along the highway to pick up the same rock. The rock wasn’t in his lane (车道) and he still picked it up.

I guess it was just nice to see someone else go out of their way to do something for other people, knowing he wouldn’t get a thank you.
