That’s when the trains leave New York. Make your choices(选择) and enjoy the ride!

Most of us like traveling (旅行). It’s very relaxing. I usually travel with my family every summer. Many people like to travel by plane, but I don’t like it, because the airport is usually far from the city. We have to get there early and wait for hours for the plane to take off and it is often late. People can’t open the window or choose (选择) what they want to eat. Planes are fast (快的), but it takes hours to get from the airport to the city.

I like traveling by train. I think it’s safe (安全的) and comfortable. Railway stations are usually in cities. When I’m late for a train, I can take another one. I can walk around in the train and open the window. I can see many interesting things on the way, but it also takes a little more time.

I also like traveling by car. I can start my journey when I want to, and I don’t need to go to a railway station or an airport. I can take many things with me in a car, but sometimes there are too many cars on the road. But as the saying goes, “You can’t have everything in life.”

In this world, most students usually go to school by bus, by bike or on foot. But there are some other special ways of getting to school.

In a village in Indonesia, the students have to cross a broken bridge over a big river to get to their school. To keep the students safe, their parents have to go with them every time.

In a city in Egypt, some schools have no real school buses. The students usually take the truck to school, and there are always too many students in the truck.

In a far-away village school in Philippines, the students there take a bamboo raft to school every day. It sounds fun, but it takes a lot of time to go to school, and it’s kind of dangerous.

In a village in Sri Lanka, some students have to cross a bridge made of a piece of wood to get to school. It’s dangerous, too.

For all these students above, it’s not very easy to get to school. But they are not afraid at all. They love school and their teachers. And they think it’s fun to study in school and play with their classmates.
