The Spring Festival (春节) is important for Chinese. It is in January or February, People (人们) buy food and have a big dinner with family. It is always jaozi. People are in red clothes to say “Happy Spring Festival” to their friends. Children have a good time because they can get lucky money (压岁钱) from their parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts.
Christmas Day (圣诞节) comes on December 25th. You can see big and nice Christmas trees (树). All colors of stars are in them. Stores sell Christmas cards and Christmas hats. Children can get gifts in socks on that day. They are from an old man—Father Christmas.
