People all have problems. If we don’t deal with (处理) these problems, we can easily become unhappy. Worrying about our problems can affect (影响) how we do at school. It can also affect the way we behave with our families. So how do we deal with our problems? There are many ways and here is one of them.

Now too much carbon dioxide, also known as CO2 (二氧化碳) makes the Earth warmer and warmer. This brings bad effect to people. To save our Earth, more and more people adopt a new lifestyle called low-carbon life. Low carbon means using less energy and reducing (减少) greenhouse gases. It is necessary for everybody to learn to live a low-carbon life.

To live a low-carbon life, we’d better save as much energy as we can. For example, turn off the lights and TV when we don’t use them, use cold water to wash clothes or dishes, take a short shower and try to take a cold one when the weather gets warm.

To live a low carbon life, we can eat less meat. Keeping animals for food produces even more carbon dioxide than all the cars do in the world. Being a vegetarian (素食主义者) can help reduce one and a half ton of carbon dioxide a year.

To live a low-carbon life, we should plant more trees. Trees are very important for us. They can not only take in carbon dioxide and produce oxygen for us to breathe, but also take in the harmful gases and keep the air clean.
