There was once a 【小题1】 whose goal was to paint the most beautiful painting in the world. Day and 【小题2】 he painted to make his greatest work. He painted many paintings, but every time, he would throw away paintings that he thought were less than perfect.

【小题3】 the same time, another painter who worked in the same studio（工作室）also painted many paintings. He tried his best to paint and 【小题4】 threw any paintings away. The first painter would sometimes walk by, looking at the second painter's finished works, and laugh at them. “No one will ever buy these paintings. They are worthless!” he would say.

The second painter would always answer, “We'll see.” And in time, the second painter 【小题5】 nearly all of his works. People were happy with them, even if they were less than perfect. The【小题6】 painter never achieved what he wanted and finally gave up on his dream of perfection. He went home, penniless（身无分文的）, having never sold any of his paintings. There is a saying “Practice makes perfect.” It 【小题7】 to say that people become better at something if they do it often. For example， 【小题8】 you want to be a good writer, you should write every day.

【小题9】 this saying is not always true. No one is perfect and looking for perfection often ends in failure. But if we simply do our 【小题10】 and work hard，we can usually succeed in life.

I have many 【小题1】 about studying in groups. But the most unforgettable experience for me was an English singing 【小题2】.

The song our team chose was Try Everything. Although most of the team 【小题3】 quickly learned the melody (旋律), there were still a few students who couldn’t sing it or were too shy to 【小题4】 it in public. So, we 【小题5】 those who couldn’t sing and encouraged those who were very shy. Finally, we sang it really 【小题6】 and got first prize.

From this experience, I realized that it’s 【小题7】 to give up when we study alone. And with each other’s encouragement, we’ll be more likely to be able to persist (坚持). What’s more, when we discuss in groups, we can 【小题8】 how to communicate with others and achieve the team goals together.

Learn to share

One day, while I was sitting in my car in a parking area, I noticed a young boy in front of my car. “What is the boy doing?” I asked myself and looked closely. “Oh, he is 【小题1】up a coin from the ground.” When he 【小题2】up, we saw each other 【小题3】. He was not 【小题4】than ten and was wearing one blue glove and one brown glove. His coat was too 【小题5】for him.

As he walked away, I saw his 【小题6】 , which were too old to wear. I rolled down my window and called him over.

I asked him if he 【小题7】some money. He replied, “No. That’s OK.”

The parking area was wet. I could tell that his 【小题8】were cold because he kept moving his weight from one foot to the other. “Please,” I held out a five-dollar bill(钞票), “It’s not much, but when the money is shared, it is much more 【小题9】.” I said.

He took off one of his gloves and took the money from my hand. His small hand was red and cold.

He smiled and went away after saying “Thank you!” to me. That smile made me 【小题10】 warm in the cold winter.
